Chaos, street food, completely different neighbourhoods. It can be just a transit stop, or it can be worth 3-4 dedicated days.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Rainforest, spectacular bays and islands with diverse characters. Koh Samui is more developed, Koh Tao is perfect for those who love slow seas and diving.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

When to go<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The north is ideal from November to February. The gulf islands (Koh Samui) are best from February to August, the west coast (Phuket) from November to April. Before planning, it\u2019s important to understand where you want to go \u2013 the choice of timing changes everything.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
