Thailand cannot be described.
You live.
I've been there three times (so far) and each time I've taken a different direction. The north with its temples and mountains up to the Burmese border, the wild nature of Kao Sok, the southern islands with their slow rhythms. It's a country that continually changes its face — and never ceases to surprise.
How do I plan trips to Thailand
I've travelled this country from north to south and I know the differences between one area and another very well. I'll help you understand which Thailand is right for you, I'll create the day-by-day itinerary and I'll help you with practical advice and trusted suppliers.
Zone

North
Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai
Temples, night markets, mountains, and the border with Burma. Northern Thailand offers a surprise for those expecting only beaches. I recommend at least 4-5 days.

Centre
Bangkok
Chaos, street food, completely different neighbourhoods. It can be just a transit stop, or it can be worth 3-4 dedicated days.

South and islands
Khao Sok · Phuket · Koh Samui · Koh Tao
Rainforest, spectacular bays and islands with diverse characters. Koh Samui is more developed, Koh Tao is perfect for those who love slow seas and diving.
When to go
The north is ideal from November to February. The gulf islands (Koh Samui) are best from February to August, the west coast (Phuket) from November to April. Before planning, it’s important to understand where you want to go – the choice of timing changes everything.
